The hotel/bar/resto was most accomdating as we 3 cyclists arrived. Problem: it was on a French national holiday. Most local restos were closed as was their kitchen so they kindly offered us an excellent cheese and salad evening meal. Perfect! After cycling n Km we just needed beer, bread and salad. With that we were off to their really good bedrooms and, in the morning to a good breakfast

The apartment is spacious and well equipped, having been recently been renovated. The location is handy to the abbey, visitors' information office, and town centre. Secure storage space was available for bikes. We awoke to a superb french-style breakfast. But the biggest positive was the wonderful hosts, Gavin and Jacqui. They live on the property and were available to offer advice and help us with tasks such as washing and grocery shopping. They did everything they could to give us a lovely experience.

Marielle’s beautiful home is fully at the disposal of her guests. This includes a stylish living room with a very comfortable sofa and all of the outdoor space, including places to relax as well as eat. Marielle is the perfect host, very kind and generous, and her home is brilliantly situated for visiting the western end of the Loire Valley. What a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I were cycling between Saumur and Tours, and were lucky enough to have booked here. The hostess was amazing, great sense of humour, and a super breakfast. Room was lovely with great personal touches. Definitely recommend.

    The hosts were friendly, accommodating and provided all the needed information. The room was very small but clean and with needed amenities including a nice en-suite. The breakfast was very nice with home baked tarts. Great coffee, too. The Inn is in a quiet location with good access to Chinon and the wine country.
