Mady was just lovely, and the rooms upstairs have such a good feel to them. The renovated monastery overlooks a big garden and other historic buildings. Parking is on the grounds, although it's a bit of a squeeze to get through the gates, but you shouldn't be driving an SUV anyway. (wink emoticon). The old town is ten minutes way and it's a nice walk. Mady doesn't speak much English, but she's a pro on the phone's translation program. If you get a chance to see Bruno's atelier downstairs, you should. He's a talented painter.

It was a beautiful piece of property tastefully appropriated with Veronique’s artistic eye for detail. The amenities were modern and new. The room was spacious with an extension for toilet, bath and dressing area. The bed linens, pillows etc were of high quality and made for a peaceful night’s sleep. The location was great as you could easily walk to the centre and all the sites that Bourne has to offer while being tucked away in tranquility. You will love your stay here so don’t hesitate.

    Handy location off the big motorways, if you're passing through the area and want to break up a long journey. Also if you want to stay cheaply in the Beaune area. Just don't expect any frills; strictly a budget motel. Small room like a ship's cabin, pre-fab furniture and walls as thin as paper. Expensive breakfast of bread, jam and cornflakes. You'll hear the snoring of the guy in the next room. You get what you pay for. But Beaune is an expensive area; it's good that there are cheap motel options.
