This family operated Hotel is exceptional in every way. Simply elegant, yet extremely comfortable. In fact so peaceful and relaxing we slept like babies. The location is perfect for exploring the entire area and close for alot of lovely restaurants. The breakfasts were next level and the care and attention to detail is five star. From the moment you arrive you are greeted and looked after so well. You can see that the owners heart and soul has been poured into this place to create something which is truly beautiful and very memorable. We were very sad to be leaving, but will return again, as this is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. We were their first guests ever to stay from New Zealand, so if you are a Kiwi, do not hesitate to book this place, you will never regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and have no complaints. The service was simply amazing - the owners were extremely helpful when it came to providing light dinner after we checked in far too late, and breakfast was delicious as well. The rooms were clean, very nicely designed, and made us feel like royalty at a chateau. Lastly, the location was also ideal; less than 10 minutes from a D-day landing beach, and close to the beautiful city of Caen.

Very friendly and thoughtful hosts, helped us with dinner reservations. Tasty breakfast - especially granola is 10/10. Great location - very convenient to get to Honfleur or Etretat by car, and Courseulles-s/Mer itself super cosy, seaside is in 5 min walk from La Cantellerie.
