What an excellent overnight stay. Just a shame we could not stay longer. Our lovely host was perfect and went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely stay. Her recommendation for an evening meal in Vertus was spot on. The breakfast in the morning was worth every penny, just because it included the best croissant I have ever had! In the morning, we took the optional tour of the winery. Was that a good experience? Of course it was!

We recently stayed at Château d’Étoges for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the impeccable hospitality and professionalism of the staff. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel as though we had stepped into an episode of Downton Abbey. The champagne was exquisite, perfectly complementing the enchanting ambiance of the château. Both dining experiences exceeded our expectations. L’Orangerie provided a Michelin-star-worthy dinner that was a true culinary masterpiece, while the other restaurant offered equally remarkable cuisine with refined flavors and presentation. Breakfast was an experience in itself—abundant, fresh, and absolutely worth it. It provided the perfect start to our day, ensuring we were well-prepared for exploring the beautiful Champagne region.     The restaurant is out of this world , not cheap but worth every penny. Superb friendly staff make you feel comfortable. We didn’t have time to try any facilities as we only stayed the one night.
