Everything was special. The place, a converted farmhouse with barn, the garden area with vegetables and fruits we could eat. The spacious house is a successful combination of preservation of the past and stylish modernisation. The green area is habitat to many different birds. A quiet place with several tables for tea, breakfast, dinner... The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nearby a small town full of character and not far away impressive river gorges.

We loved being at Chateau de la Mothe and did not really want to leave. It is a beautiful place. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Our rooms were lovely and very modern inside. Mathilde was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. We needed a one page legal document printed so we could sign it and email it back to Australia. She did this for us quickly. The shower was great and the beds were comfortable. It had a washing machine and air conditioning.

    The location of La Maison du Prince de Condé was ideal, situated at the heart of the mediaeval village. Perfect for exploring. The gardens where beautiful, a lovely place to sit and relax. Maryline and Louis where the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We look forward to staying here again soon.
