This is an exceptional property and well worth the effort of driving into the mountains on those windy roads - the views are spectacular! And it’s only 30 minutes to the airport. The property itself is steeped in history: an ancient family homestead, resurrected from ruins and sympathetically restored into a characterful, modern, well equipped small hotel with a beautiful pool overlooking the surrounding hills. It even comes with a donkey! The rooms are comfortable and cosy. The hotel has a small restaurant and we had a lovely meal on the lower terrace whilst listening to owls and watching the stars. We also had a great buffet type breakfast (with homemade yoghurt! Yum!) which is served on the terrace beside the pool whilst the sun rises over the sea. It’s a magical place, made perfect by Jérôme, the host, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. You enter a hotel when you arrive, but you almost feel like family when you leave. Thank you!

    Pinea Mare is a beautiful set of residences managed with love by Roxane and Max and their team. We could enjoy everything at the nature in this sustainability loving location - proximity to the nice beach, bio-diversity, BBQ, ping-pong and badminton evenings, reading, even laundry facilities. The residences are not so close to each other that you may find intrusive. Highly recommendable location. The hosts are very kind and open to support and help whatever needed.

    Very good location for families with little kids. Beautifull sandy beach with simple access from all appartments. Childern playground was great on the beach and next to the restaurant. Pool was great as well. The manager with his wife was always nice, full of helpful ideas for “must see” places, but little bit busy….;-)
