The house is larger than I thought from the images. It has air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms which was great. The host was very responsive, lovely and helpful. We had a lovely stay here and the outlook over the fields is very nice.

Domaine de Sans Bas is a charming character property set amongst it’s own large private woodlands and gardens. The swimming pool was great and a fabulous place to relax. We loved the peace and quiet and abundance of nature, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. It has obviously been a project of love for owners Veronique, Eric, Margot and Romain. They were wonderful friendly hosts, always happy to help and to chat, both in French and English. Breakfast was great value and all the ingredients fresh, it was lovely to eat outside on the balcony with views of the woods, meadows and lake. We will definitely be returning for another week next year.

Lovely quiet location in a pretty hamlet. The gîte was very comfortable and clean with its own private patio space outside and an amazing hot-tub ! The hosts Andy and Jacqui could not have been more hospitable; greeted us on arrival and explained the various utilities in the gîte and then slipped away. They were on call throughout our stay but never obtrusive - just let us enjoy our break in the knowledge we could call on them if necessary which we had no need to as everything was perfect. We will definitely return !
