The accommodation was a terrific positive surprise. It was clean, beautifully decorated, not too much, but very soothing, and most important, very spacious. In addition, Blondine was a wonderful host, always friendly, and always there to ensure our comfort and to advise on the locality. This is one of the best Chambre d’hote we have stayed in. A beautiful farm setting, yet within easy reach of commercial facilities. We were keen to cycle the area, and in particular, the Canal de Borgogna was a fantastic ride, free from road traffic. A highly recommended place to stay for a peaceful rest or stop-over.

This was a superb stay in a quaint village. Beautiful old historic guesthouse with a varied and interesting history. The owner, Marie, is very fascinating to talk to and I left a lot later than I intended to as we discussed many aspects of life.

    It was a different and quite pleasant experience. Some previous reviews mentioned 'shabby chic'. I would say it was not chic but it was not shabby either. It was a convenient location for an overnight stop on our journey down south, close to famous medieval villages. We enjoyed simple but nice dinner and wine on a lovely terrace on the hill.
