I had a very pleasant stay at Bruno's house as I was travelling to Melun for work issues. I would recommend anyone to come and stay here. For holiday or work, you will certainly feel at home in his' house. For me it was an inspiring journey. It all started at Bruno's house. I have discovered a little more about France during my stay here and I am eager and curious to travel again in this beautiful country with welcoming and joyful people. This is a house with a story, full of vintage and family memories. I strongly invite you to discover it. The host is ready anytime to make your stay enjoyable and cheerful. Bruno is an amazing storyteller and he will make you curious to visit the surrounding areas with the three most important historical castles around: Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte and Blandy. What I've liked the most about my room was the beautiful view I had from my window to the garden. What I have appreciated the most was the cleanliness and ordering of the house & the room! You will for sure not get bored or regret your stay in Melun, especially because the house is so close to the train station, close to Paris (by train & metro); it is close to the city of Fontainebleau, very animated and touristic city because of the castle and because of the many cafes, restaurants, cinema and shopping streets that exist here. I wish you to discover Melun and the surroundings the way I have discovered them in my stay and I'm sure you'll wish to return in France one day. The house has a little garden with a pool, which is a big plus for the hot summer days, but even now it is pleasant to spend a few moments in the garden and why not, play with the family member, a lovely cat. Have a nice stay in Melun!

Incredible place, one of a king. A HUGE garden where you can relax, enjoy. Never in my life I have been in a place like this. This is a classic house, so do no expect modern accommodations, but you will be more than compensate it if you want to be in such a wonderful environment.

This is an excellent property for an overnight stay in a small village fairly close to Fontainebleau (15 mins drive). The apartment is part of the owner’s residence, once you enter thru the front door of the residence, the apartment is a self contained suite off the foyer, it’s very private and quiet with the owners just a door knock away if needed. The suite has a king size bed, a sofa and dining table, and 3 large windows give pleasant views to the garden and street. The bathroom is well set up and has everything for an overnight stay. The suite has an immaculate presentation and it’s obvious the hosts know how to treat their guests. The included breakfast was quite terrific, croissants, baguettes, ham, cheese, jams, yogurt, fruit, tea & coffee. Nothing more was needed for us, all delivered at our preferred time on a mobile service to the suite. Despite other reviewers comments, there are in fact several very good quality restaurants within 5-10 mins walking. We dined at Sakura (Japanese) simply fantastic.
