Everything about Au Clair de Vianne was perfect! The welcome, the helpfulness, wonderful accommodation, view, breakfast -- tout est parfait! Claire and her husband have done a fantastic job of renovating their house with carefulness and creativity. We had rented a car in Toulouse and were headed to the Bordeaux area. This was the perfect stop along the way. We highly recommend it, and we would love to return in the future and stay several nights instead of just one night. Before leaving the village, we walked around the little town of Vianne and found it very charming.

Very well equipped gite with plenty of space. Very comfortable. Sylvie was excellent and very welcoming - she even gave us some eggs for breakfast. There was s good secure place for our bikes as well

Super clean, professionell and easy going. I was traveling with my 10 yo son, we were super tired after a long drive and were greeted with warmth and comfort. Felt safe and in good hands, as we Reiki people say (and recognize each other). Our stay at Château Cauderoue was a real delight. The beautiful Renaissance castle has an authentic atmosphere, surrounded by peace and nature. Our room was spacious and high-ceilinged, with elegant cotton bed linen, a light blanket, and a comfortable 160 × 200 cm bed. The bathroom was large and spotless, and we even had an extra sitting room - everything felt well cared for and serene. We were warmly welcomed with a drink on arrival and given a clear explanation and small tour of the château. Carol, the owner (and talented ceramic artist), was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite her limited English and our limited French, we communicated easily and had genuinely pleasant conversations. Her ceramic works, displayed throughout the house, add a beautiful artistic touch - and some pieces are available for purchase. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs cooked to order and fresh brioche instead of croissants. The saltwater pool was still open, even in the late season, and pool towels were thoughtfully provided. We also appreciated the offer to use the refrigerator and the comfortable outdoor seating areas with lovely views and fresh air from the open windows. The Wi-Fi connection worked very well throughout our stay. Merci beaucoup, Carol, pour votre gentillesse, votre hospitalité et votre magnifique maison - un vrai bijou rempli d’art et de charme !

We travelled by bicycle but unfortunately we had a puncture which required a bicycle mechanic to repair. Our hosts drove us to the bicycle shop where it was repaired promptly and then drove us back to Cheminard where we continued on our way.Excellent service from our hosts.
