Coming back to Woodend this Christmas was like coming home for the holidays. For one thing, Dawn remembered how much we loved a roaring fire in the fireplace that she made sure we had enough wood to get one going when we got there. The familiarity of the place made it a cosy Christmas. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a washing machine. Detergent for all was also 8provided Located just outside town, Woodend is easily accessible by car to the town and all the surrounding areas. Short of a white Christmas, the stay was exceptionally comfortable. If this place is so cosy in winter, we can't imagine how wonderful a summer stay would be like. The sheep in the nearby farms come practically right up to the boundary and sunrises have been gorgeous on this visit.

Just like a standard house. All the equipment necessary, no surprise. Owner living just by the rental. Warm welcome. Everything explained in person and through a booklet. Lots of space (inside and outside, parking as well), nearby mini grocery store - tesco. Standard fridge (not the little ones). Super clean. Modern. Looks like it was built within the year.
