From the moment we arrived, we were greeting by our hosts, Casey and Joe, and they couldn't have been nicer. They are such genuinely lovely people and they have a really nice B&B with a fantastic atmosphere. The place is spotlessly clean and the room is gorgeous. We had the attic room. The room has plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The room has all the facilities you would need including a TV, fan, hairdryer and kettle. They also provide you with plenty tea, hot chocolate, several varieties of coffee and some tasty cookies too. The room also has plenty of sockets for any electrical items. The bathroom is stunning and has a large free standing rolltop bath that faces the window and there is a nice view out the window. There is also a nice shower. The bathroom is stocked with plenty clean towels and plenty toiletries are provided too. The room was serviced each day, towels were changed as needed and tea and coffee etc. was re-stocked. For breakfast, the options are varied to suit all tastes and the quality of food is excellent and delicious. The cooked breakfast is particularly good and certainly sets you up for the day. We didn't get to eat any evening meals there, but the menu looks great and from what I have heard, their food is fantastic. Based on how good the breakfast is, I was not surprised to hear such positive words about their other food. The B&B is also licenced and they have a bar. We did not drink in the B&B, but they have a decent selection of beers and quite an impressive selection of spirits, and in particular, a good selection of whisky. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foulskye. We have booked again for next year and we are already looking forward to going back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful decor, with everything you would need, excellent for families or couples. Excellent location, warm and cosy, plenty of space, free parking, within walking distance of shops and attractions. Host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Big shout out to Ian and John the hotel owners! Committed to excellent customer service, they even served me personally! Speaks volumes about the high standards and expectations of customer care of the establishment. Shout out to Rachel at the front desk as well! Your kindness and helpfulness set the tone for our wonderful stay. My stay was very comfortable and anything I needed in my room was provided for. Ian even went the extra mile to find out where I could hire bikes to have a fun day out riding with my daughter. The Breakfast buffet was tasty especially the fresh croissants! Baie Baie dankie! Dit was fantasties! Ek sal weer kom kuier John! Thank you for having us for our short getaway, it was totally worth it.

    Wonderful little place is such a dreamy location – I wish I could eat breakfast looking out on that valley every day! Such a comfortable bed and great facilities for cooking. We had a fantastic time.

    The location was just what we needed as we were travelling with dogs. The directions to the property were spot on, the tea/coffee welcome pack was a nice touch. Everything was clean, the house heated up quickly and was so warm and cosy. Information packs on the properry and local area were provided. The lounge was so inviting after a day spent in the forest. The shower was hot and the towels were really fluffy. I wish I could live in a house like that.

    Charming cottage in a forest setting. Ideally located for all manner of activities. The facilities are good and the shower is very good. Despite the remoteness, wifi is good as is TV reception. We stayed here as we attending a wedding at Harkness Grange and it's just 10 minutes up the road and a fraction of the cost. The host is very helpful and informative.
