A hidden gem just 2 minute gentle stroll from a lovely village. Lovely welcome and a super friendly feel. Really thoughtfully renovated leaving the old world charm intact but with modern convenience. We were treated to the piper on the bridgas we headed out for dinnin the village. We had a gorgeous breakfast looking out over the lawn and the deer walking through the garden was the icing on the cake.

Best breakfast we've had in Scotland. Made fresh between 8-9 AM. Cosy house with wood-burning fireplaces - perfect for the cold days. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. If we ever have the chance to visit Aviemore again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Amazing rooms, super comfortable beds, lots of pillows, very clean room and bathroom with more than enough towels, even make-up remover towels which is great and rarely an option. The whole place is mega cozy and makes you feel like home. Great choices for breakfast and tasty food. Since I’m a very picky person, usually it’s very hard for me to find accommodation, but Mark and Susie did an amazing job with the place and I highly recommend you booking this place if you’re ever in Aviemore.

The Highland getaway was amazing..very much 5 star.. had things we didn't think we needed! The attention to detail was above and beyond. Even dressing gowns and slippers. Beds were super comfy. Shower was powerfully and hot. And cooking facility was spot on. The kids loved the freedom of the park with forest walks across the road. And steam train within 5 mins walk.. no WiFi was not a problem for us. But there was no connection.

    Very friendly staff. Good, extensive breakfast which is served quickly. Location is relatively quiet and ideal for hiking. Would recommend to come by car, but definitely isn’t necessary as I was travelling by public transport myself.

    Location was ideal for a stop off point on our tour up the east coast, especially with the added interest of the historic Packhorse Bridge, literally on the doorstep.....an added bonus :) The evening meal we had was excellent, breakfast also generally good, and the room totally adequate for our needs. Surprisingly, there wasn't too much disturbance from a 21st birthday party that was occurring in the pub....also the road was pretty quiet.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. Speedy service at mealtimes and good choice provided for breakfast and dinners were excellent - lovely choice of menu and cheesecake was wonderful. Ideal location for walking holiday in Cairngorms and plenty of tourist attractions nearby.
