It’s a locals pub with a few bedrooms, looks like 2 bedrooms per shared bathroom. It was basic but very clean and a comfortable bed. It helped having a sink in the bedroom. Plenty of parking , friendly staff. It’s a budget priced room so can’t expect luxury but it had tea/coffee making facilities. Overall I was happy with it . There is a large lounge/dining area again clean and tidy and I guess if a group or family staying it would be great to use

Easy access, parking outside, very clean and comfortable. Excellent power shower and easy up to date heating system. Great site for families with children. We came as a couple for a couple of days with the dog. A great location within easy reach to Runswick Bay, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby.

Basic, but clean fresh and bed comfortable and bedding crisp and white, liked the sink in the room too. Kids bed would easily fit 2 little ones. Big tv. Didn't matter about breakfast, I took cereals, dishes etc and toaster and took fresh bottle of milk kept cool in a flask. Shower room just opposite the door, very clean. Only sharing with one other room. Nice lounge area downstairs. Amazing cheap break for a little family, our grandson loved it, so quiet too. Literally 5 minutes from Scarborough. Food quite good in pub and staff lovely.

Good location just outside Scarborough. I took a 3 day solo break and used it as a base for ebike rides. It's ideal for that. The old Filey Road is close by which makes for a good short ride while the Cinder Track from Scarborough to Whitby is excellent. The room was okay, nothing special but it was clean and comfortable. The pub was handy for a beer in the evening. It was cheap for the holiday season. I'd stay there again.
