The cottage is beautiful - it's a heritage listed building that has been thoughtfully renovated. It's much larger than I expected - 2 double bedrooms with heaps of space around the beds; an upstairs toilet AND two bathrooms downstairs ; as well as a large kitchen, laundry area, lounge room and dining room. In addition, there was a ready-to-go hot tub in the back yard. What more could you want??? There was space to park the car in front of the cottage and of the road. The village was extremely quiet during the night too. All in all, this is a fabulous place for a holiday for two couples or a family.

We had an amazing time at Laurel House! The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable, always available with suggestions for great places to eat and local attractions. Every morning, we enjoyed delicious and varied breakfasts. The apartment was pleasant, clean, and spacious, providing us with a comfortable stay.. The location and staff were exceptional. The caravan was clean, comfortable and very relaxing (best shower ever!!!! Was not expecting that!) also the lib next door was outstanding food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced (book ahead though as everyone knows how good they are).

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, smelled fresh, and had everything we needed. Instructions for check-in and amenities were clear and easy to follow. The space felt bright, airy, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very clean, modern, and perfectly equipped – the kitchen, living room, and bedroom had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the small garden was perfect for a morning coffee, and the internet worked flawlessly. The location is excellent – close to restaurants, cafés, and the town centre, yet the area is quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was quick and easy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!
