Great location for exploring the Somerset Levels & the numerous nature reserves around. Close to Cheddar Gorge if you like that sort of thing, Lori was very friendly & informative. The flat is above a pub but it was very quiet and peaceful there, birdsong in the morning was incredible! Would happily stay here again.

Everything about the place is amazing. The location is you're heading too and from the airport. The rooms are immaculate. Plenty of beer and drinks choices for those wanting to unwind. Food menu was excellent and both courses that I ordered came really quickly. There are nearby walks to do which you can lose a few hours on or soak up the nice vibes in the bar. I wish I was aware of this before I arrived.

The Sheep and Penguin is a brilliant, newly refurbished little inn. We had the pleasure of staying a couple of nights there. It's a great base to explore Wells and the wider Somerset region from. Excellent customer service from all of the staff, especially the manager Dan who made us feel completely welcome and gave us some excellent local recommendations. The pub downstairs is fantastic and the food was top notch. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a very comfy bed! We would highly recommend that everyone visiting Wells or Somerset should stay here!

We loved everything about our stay at Gordons. Sadly we had only one night there but would have loved to have more time and enjoy the swimming pool and a few more lovely breakfasts. Definitely recommend!! Will definitely go back!

    The beds were super comfortable in the main bedrooms - the double bunk was a bit squeaky for a 16-year old. The location was perfect - a little shop close by, parking for one car, easy access to dog walks and West Mendip Way.

    The studio was so nice and cosy, very clean and many thoughtful touches such as charging cables by the bedside. It was in a quiet neighbourhood, and feels quite secluded despite being in the owners back garden. Hot tub was nice. The owner was so kind and offered to change our booking by a day when we missed the first night due to our car breaking down on route! I would never have expected that.

    We liked the location. The decor and furnishings were lovely. The lodge was very clean and provided everything we needed. Phone charging leads in each room! Prosecco and orange juice in the fridge and croissants and jam. We enjoyed watching a Netflix movie. Nice easy access to keys on arrival. We met one of the hosts, very friendly.

    We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Nook, which was wonderful! Great location very close to Cheddar and Wells and in the heart of the village. The small convenience store close by was very handy too. Marie was so helpful and there was a welcome basket of goodies waiting for us on arrival. The cottage was spotless and the beds super comfy. All in all a fabulous place and we can't wait to go back again!
