The balcony view onto the river was a nice bonus (photo). I thought the fresh milk in the mini fridge was a lovely touch. Geraldine dropped by a couple of times and was delightful. There is a lovely little circular walk by the river on the other side of the bridge. From there, you can see the light blue property (photo). Quiet location but with several eating out options within minutes walk. Owner responded to questions quickly and was very helpful. Very clean room. Nice touch to have a fresh milk bottle in the mini fridge waiting for coffee and tea instead of the usual UHT pods elsewhere! My suitcase was dropped at the hotel prior to check in time, as I was attending the Hay Festival that day ( as I had done for several days prior ) and moving out of a friend's house that morning.
