The location was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to stay in a rural location with proximity to Stansted airport and Colchester. The accommodation was perfect for a couple. The studio apartment is bright and very comfortable. The owners have put a lot of effort into providing a well equipped self catering studio apartment which is tastefully decorated. The hosts ensured we had a lot of useful information before arrival and were on hand if we needed anything during our brief stay.

    Perfect location as I was visiting friends nearby. Staff very friendly on arrival, single room was ideal, situated in the courtyard, spotlessly clean, nice walk in shower with toiletries and a comfy bed. Breakfast included was great, again really friendly staff and service, and the restaurant of the hotel is really nice. A lot of atmosphere in the bar and outside seating areas on the Friday and Saturday that I stayed, so an ideal spot for a drink in the evening. No complaints at all and I would definitely stay here again.

    A well established hotel in a lovely area. Tastefully decorated and very clean. Central location and ideal for our needs. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Cannot be faulted and will definitely make a return visit.

    Very helpful staff, good service at dinner and an excellent breakfast. The room was well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. The wifi was super quick. Ideal location for Stansted airport and no noise!
