A little hidden treasure. Most tastfully and same time practical furnished apartment. Perfect for short or longer stays. Has everything one could wish for a couple or a single. Beautiful area, lovely host, extremly clean and modern! I Just loved it! Also very good internet, in case someone might need that for some home office.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The accommodation was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, very clean, and perfectly equipped. We especially appreciated the fresh flowers and the lovely welcome treats like sweets, butter, bread, and fresh eggs — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. 7 The Walks was full of character and was very comfortable. Really comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms, a large kitchen and large comfortable lounge.Very clean and well equipped, e.g. a proper washing-up cloth rather than the usual j-cloth! I loved the old-fashioned toilet with the pull chain which reminded me of my childhood at my grandmother’s house. I also loved the wonky floors and the first floor bedroom with the low beamed ceiling and the old wooden bed in it (very comfortable mattress). It was lovely to wake up in the morning with a ‘lost in time’ feeling. Parking wasn’t a problem. Two close lovely walks to the right and left.

Everything, the tent was set on in the middle of trees on a lovely farm growing vegetables, the bed was very comfortable and Benn made sure I had enough blankets to be more than comfortable! The shower and compostable toilets were perfect and close enough to be convenient. My personal favourite thing was the opportunity to feed their baby duck, a lovely stay despite the rain. (although the sound of the drops on the canvas was very nice!) Thank you barefoot retreats, I'll be back for sure!

    We ate at the anchor inn on our last stay to Ashdown Forest and decided to stay this time. We were in the Piglet room which was a twin room. It was spacious and had a nice bathroom and facilities. We had dinner there which was great. It was quiet at night as well which was good since we were over the pub. Location was fantastic and staff were helpful.

    Very friendly service and excellent food. Good choice of beers on tap. Location in Winnie the Pooh land was great. For a room above a pub it was quiet, you could hear conversation through the floor but that stopped at a reasonable time. Wife says the scrambled eggs were the best she has ever had.

    Everything was perfect - the room (we were in Tigger), the food (exceptional - don’t lose the chef!), the bed - so comfortable, the location - perfect for visiting Hever, Chiddingstone etc. Last but not least, the very accommodating staff. What a find - we loved it.

    It was supposed to be continental but all we got was a slice of toast and some cereal, tea and coffee. Location was good.
