The castle was phenomenal. Booked a large double room which turned out to be the size of an apartment. The bathroom was huge. Everything was immaculate and the staff were amazing. The grounds are like something from a postcard everywhere you looked.

It was comfortable and easily assessable up steel outside steps. Had everything we needed. It was convenient with pub (drinks) downstairs. We were so grateful, the very early morning phone call to get keys as we left item behind in our room. Thank you for answering and assisting us.

    The room was large with 2 single beds and a big tv. Ironing board & iron provided. Bonus - it had a microwave. Bathroom had a shower, toilet & sink. All very clean and modern fittings. Fluffy grey cushions. Table with two seats at the window to dine at. Linen and towels smelled lovely; nice fragrant laundry softener. Easy to find. Easy to park. Close to motorway. Asda easily nearby.

    The location of the hotel is in a quiet road, just off a main road. The gardens are beautiful and a river runs by the side of the castle. Breakfast is excellent and the hotel offers both dinner in the lounge and a more formal dinner in the restaurant. Our room was very comfortable.
