Eileen and Andrew were so lovely hosts, the view is amazing, they have a lot of wonderful animals there and the vegetarian breakfast was delicious. We absolutely enjoyed this peaceful, relaxing stay and we'll surely come back again! We wish we could've stay a few more days!

Great location and very friendly hosts. People rush of to see the Isle of Skye, but there is plenty to see in the area and our hosts had great suggestions on what to see and do. We had a real great time walking to the local pub for a few beers, exploring the peninsula, getting stuck in "traffic" due to a heard of cows occupying the road etc. Real and authentic experience you can not get with the best planning. The house itself was nice, spaceous and with plenty of good books about local sites and history.

Wish we were there for longer. Fantastic host, great location, amazing views and wildlife. The room was lovely and the breakfast in the house was lovely. They even took care of our dinner reservation at the walled garden which was magnificent. We couldn't have asked for more. Such a treat. Also Terry was k8nd enough to show me her studio and some printing techniques.

This was our favourite accommodation so far. Comfortable, incredibly well equipped home with a lovely view over the loch. Alan was very welcoming and had put a lot of thought into providing everything his visitors could need. Loved the well populated bird feeders outside the kitchen and lounge windows. There are lots of interesting features in the home. Close enough to visit Skye. Good check-in instructions

The staff were super helpful on arrival and showed us where to eat, wash-up, relax, bathrooms and the room. Despite other reviews, we found it really clean and very well organised. It's a nice touch that there are spaces to leave your food labelled (pens and stickers provided) and then 'free' food for those who don't need it for their onward journeys. We were not on a hike or bike tour, but there were washing and drying facilities available and secure bike storage. I've not stayed in many hostels, but this was a step up from what I expected. Heard no evidence of other guests after 10pm or before 7am despite what seemed nearly a full house using the breakfast room in the morning. Either good soundproofing or a well-behaved set of guests. The only overnight noise was from the stags and highland cattle.
