We only stayed one night on our trip to Sco. The hotel is wonderful and lovely decorated. The man who runs it, has been very nice, friendly and helpful. We felt welcome.

The hotel is a heritage site with a beautiful river flowing besides it. The staff is very courteous, especially the restaurant staff, which helped us out as my elderly parents were not able to eat Traditional English food. The location, feel and rooms were excellent. Thank you so much

A beautifully finished perfectly furnished property in a beautiful location. Immaculate and very well stocked. Has everything you need and more. Relaxing, clean and very comfortable. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. A great getaway. Will definitely return. Owners were amazing and really looked after us.

Very atmospheric place to stay, with lovely, cosy interior! The cottage has old (in a good way!) and traditional feel to it, with all of the modern comforts you might need. We stayed there in October, with the outside temperatures on the lower side, and inside was so lovely and warm! Additionally, working log burner added extra warmth and cosiness in the living area. Kim, whom I’ve liaised with regarding the cottage, was very nice and helpful throughout. The location was also fantastic, only short drive to Edinburgh and beautiful Pentland Hills reserve. I’d definitely visit again!

The location of the hotel was perfect, near connections on road to East Kilbride and Glasgow. the welcoming at the hotel and service whilst there was fantastic. My husband is disabled so everyone helped me to ensure he was ok, enev one of the reception staff came to collect my luggage from the bottom of the stairs to, so I could get my husband up the ramp. Kudos to all. The whole hotel was spotless and bright.
