Location was good-close to amenities and a short journey to the seafront. Quiet area, no road noise. Room was immaculately decorated, very well presented, and perfect size for two people. Bed was comfortable with a good supply of bedding and pillows. Cleanliness was obvious throughout. Hosts were polite, informative and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding with a good range of choice and high quality ingredients and presentation.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at High Cliff House in Lynton during our journey through the stunning landscapes of South England. Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful and inviting place we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were spellbound by the immaculate decor and cleanliness that greeted us. Our room was an absolute delight - spacious, cozy, and impeccably neat. The interior design and breathtaking views from our window left us in awe. We could not have asked for a more delightful setting to unwind and soak in the picturesque surroundings. What truly sets High Cliff House apart is the warmth and kindness of the owners. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We instantly felt at home in their presence, and their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Regrettably, we couldn't extend our visit as much as we would have liked, as we were captivated by the heavenly breakfast. It was a delight for the senses, and we savored every moment of it. Rest assured, we have already vowed to return to High Cliff House for a longer stay. It's a place that has stolen our hearts, and we cannot wait to relive the enchantment and create more cherished memories. Thank you, High Cliff House, for making our stay an extraordinary one! Definetively Ness and Phil, who did everything to comfort us. Both are superfriendly and it as a pleasure to meet and talk to them. Besides them it was their nice and perfect house and rooms. We enjoyed our stay their pretty much. Also the breakfast was very delicious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very knowable about the old building and area. Food was home cooked and presented well. Very good value for. Would highly recommend a stay. Rooms were exceptionally clean and well presented with complementary beverages and health products.

    Great location, close to Porlock, Lynton & Lynmouth. Stunning views surrounding. Parking available in front of farm house. Clean throughout and cleaned regularly. Bedroom tidied daily. My room had a separate toilet and separate shower room opposite the bedroom. These were kept clean and tidy daily. The host (Susan) and family are very friendly. I would recommend this property is more suitable to walkers or those in a small budget.

    Everything was perfect. Friendly polite staff, Great location, lovely feel to the hotel, very clean, slept very well as it was so quiet and the breakfast was one of the best, so many hotels could learn a great deal from the North Cliff Hotel. Last but not least the view is breathtaking.

    In keeping with the town of Lynton. Ideal location to set off for walking. Very clean and in a quiet area. Small fridge in room large enough to accommodate 250ml of fresh milk(provided by by Chris & Lesley) non of the cheap little plastic cartons.

    Lovely spotlessly clean hotel. Staff were especially nice and helpful. We were able to easily book a parking space and add on breakfast as extras. Ideal location, just opposite the centre of the village with lots of quirky little shops and cafe's. Would choose this hotel first if we were ever to stay at Lynton again.
