A bit difficult to find but once you’re there it’s in a lovely spot on a golf course. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was very good. Spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend.

spectacular country setting gardens and pool area immacutely maintained. First Class extras and somebody on hand with a huge smile and predisposition to solve everything, great feeling to open your bedroom door and be able to jump into the outdoor heated pool and sit on the sunloungers with sun umbrellas and read. The property is absolutely fabulous, a credit to its owners, who were also extremely helpful. As a family we travel to Oakham 2/3 times per year, this will now be our goto place, if available of course. Location was perfect for our needs being centrally located in the town, but also the perfect place for peace and quiet. Welcome basket was a perfect touch. Car parking is currently an issue for non UK tourist (but is being worked on) as it is not possible to download local apps for car parks on a foreign mobile phone. We did find a solution for this through a very helpful local resident who put our car on their app, we did of course pay for the parking.

The apartment at The Maltings was absolutely perfect and the best equipped property I have ever stayed in. The hosts had thought of everything. It was cosy and comfortable and I was made to feel so welcome. Hosts were very responsive. The apartment was ideally located, with everything I needed within walking distance. I wanted for nothing. I would definitely recommend this property and am already talking about visiting again.
