I had such a lovely stay here. The place is so cute, with everything you need. It's in a beautiful little village which is close to Monmouth, reachable on foot up the River Wye. What a lovely stay.

Everything was as described and reviewed. We did have high expectations and they were certainly met. The host was very attentive and kind. The Nagshead nature reserve was within walking distance, nice forest path into the village and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.

    Spent a lovely week at The Rookery, which is well situated to discover The Forest of Dean. The cottage was easily accessible, very clean, well equipped and cosy. Lovely outside area to sit. Julie was a wonderful host and very helpful.

    A lovely secluded and private property with all the home comforts needed. Our host was welcoming, attentive and available if needed. The location of the property was perfect for some challenging walks and to explore the Wye Valley further. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.
