What a great find at very short notice! Our room was extremely comfortable and had the best shower. I think it was my best night's sleep in many weeks of travelling. We were provided information on where we could get a meal in the next village and they even booked a table for us. We enjoyed a drink at the bar, chatting with other patrons, before setting out to get dinner. We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning before departure. The locals were all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this village, and this pub, on our next trip to UK.

    We use the Masons accommodation regularly as it is good value, staff are excellent, helpful and very friendly and the location is ideal for us. Food is great and the restaurant and outside areas are lovely. Everywhere is always clean.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar was ideal for relaxing in after a days hiking. The location in Norham was ideal, a short walk from Norham Castle and the Tweed.

    All staff were really friendly including the locals in the bar. Our room was in the new annex and couldn't fault it, very clean, comfy and quiet. The bar area was very cosy with a great choice and a lot cheaper than down south. Evening meal was really nice with a good range to choose from. Breakfast was lovely and all cooked to order. All in all the Masons is a great place to stop over and will use again when in the area.

    Really nice pub that has a pleasant location and wonderful staff. The accommodation is deceptively big and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good and cooked to order. Everything catered for. Overall a great place. The restaurant is closed on Thursdays but a local fish and chip van visits the village which is great, and you can sit in the pub to eat them.
