We liked everything about the place. It was our 49th anniversary we picked this for a quiet romantic break. The cottage is small but is comfortable, very well thought out and has everything you need. We liked the old world charm, the quiet location, the welcome pack and easy access to local town. Hosts were great, very friendly and helpful.

The property was very well situated in a quiet spot with off road private parking. It was easy to let yourself in following the instructions sent by email, The room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean and fitted out with everything you need, including free bottled water.. The bed was very comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep. We could not fault anything and can highly recommend The Olive as a great place for a stopover and great value for money.

Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean, great location for the races and comfortable bed Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Coffees on arrival and evening meal were added to room bill so 1 easy payment in the morning as we checked out. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a base to explore the local area. Kitchen was well equipped and the living area was large enough for our family of 3. The garden was lovely and secure and the surrounding farm land was a beautiful back drop.

It is self catering, the keys were in a lock box but easy to find and easy to open. The studio was spacious, spoke to the owner, he was very friendly and welcoming. Everything that we needed was provided... In fact, I did tell the owner that I was ready to buy it and move in. Absolutely brilliant, If you are looking for dog friendly, in a good location for walks, close to Lincoln and Grimsby, (for fish and chips), your not going to get much better. Large garden for the dog to run free... We had our own small garden to let the dog out in the evening and morning too.

Huge house with lots of space for groups/families. Updated house with modern decor and a fabulous kitchen. Everything you needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Very comfortable beds. Stunning countryside views and a quiet rural location, yet only within a short 2-4 minute drive into horncastle. Loved hearing the lions roar as the wildlife park is so close! An absolute must place to visit too! Loved every second of our stay.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the setting. Pine and oak trees surrounded this beautiful cabin and the only sounds were mother nature herself. On entering the cabin I immediately noticed how immaculately clean it was. I cannot rave about this place highly enough! An absolute escape to relaxation. I highly recommend.

    Warm, lovely cottage, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owner friendly and very helpful (had crisis with vehicle and no issue to stay a few extra hours). Cycling in the area is a dream, quiet roads and interesting locations.to visit. Louth, and Horncastle in very easy reach. Only one bike in Horncastle a fantastic cafe with very different menu choices and a great bile equipment and repair shop.
