Beautiful cottage in the countryside. Views in every direction and we had sunshine everyday for the week we were there (end Nov). Open plan was great for prepping food and being able to chat with family at the same time. Everything you could need was present. Plenty of storage for bikes in the garage and lovely place to sit out at the end of the day or for alfresco breakfast. The location allowed exploring both Wales and England. Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Bridgnorth in England, Welshpool, Wrexham and Chirk. There is Pistyll Rhaeader Waterfall nearby, which is a 3ml walk from the centre of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant just down the hill from the cottage. There are plenty of Castles/ Houses to visit in the area which did a few due to being NT members. Chirk Castle, Powis Castle and Erdigg House were fantastic with all trimmed with Xmas decorations. Walking can be had right from the door and due to the lack of light pollution you can see the star constellations which make it feel you can reach out and touch them. All in all a fantastic place to stay with super comfy beds, space inside and outside and everything you need. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The owners are very helpful and nothing too much trouble, not that we had any. We used Cefn Coch as the Sat-Nav search and it takes you to the cottage.

    Property was very clean indeed. Very well presented. Welcome pack was excellent and very thoughtful. The cottage was exceedingly well equipped. T. V. was easy to use. There were books and jigsaws available. Very nicely decorated. A quiet and private location with a nice view from the bedroom. Short drive from the town. I would generally highly recommend a visit.

    The flat was spacious and had all the things needed ie toilet rolls, towels, bed linen, kitchen equipment, TV. It was an ideal location close to the town centre and near cafes, restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean and tidy.

    Beautiful location, with friendly hosts who greeted us on arrival and let us know they were there if we needed them, but also left us to enjoy our stay. The cottage is well equipped, very clean, close to local attractions and Oswestry town but also away from everything, and very peaceful.

    Very nice location with great view over farmland and hills. House is very clean and everything is spotless. House is about 4 miles from Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall and about 20 miles from Bala. Snowdonia is also not far away. Definitely recommend this house as a gateway to Wales.
