Beautiful spot by one of the Test's streams complete with the ducks. Absolutely lovely for 2 agile people as the short stairs to the bedroom on the mezzanine are very steep. The flat had a small lounge with woodburner and was the same price as the normal bedroom in the usual hotel so great value for the money. The .George pub a short walk from The Den was great too. The food was cooked beautifully and wasn't a bad price for such delights.

Loved our stay in this lovely country pub. It was affordable, the staff were friendly and helpful, they provided a great breakfast included in the room cost plus had other good meal choices available and the picturesque location was beautiful. We really enjoyed the rural walk into the St. Mary Bourne village. It was also a good location to visit tourist locations like Stonehenge and Winchester Cathedral.

    Very friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable room with lovely antique furniture. Nice added touch was fresh milk every day. Perfect location, very quiet but good access to main roads. Would not hesitate in returning if in the area.
