Nice and cosy! We loved the historic setting and the countryside style of the building itself and the garden. The room was comfy and well equiped. Everything is perfectly maintained and Francesca is a lovely host. She took care of all our needs while staying in Callander. We definetely come back again!

Exactly what we were looking for, an old village pub near Stirling with a few rooms upstairs, a refreshing break from generic “chain” hotels. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and this made for a great experience. Breakfast was freshly made for us each morning, and was delicious. We had dinner there the first night and it was so good we ate there the following nights of our stay as well.

We had a truly wonderful stay! My wife and I enjoyed every moment here. The accommodation was beautiful – the room was tastefully decorated, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the highlight for us was the charming dormer nook with a sofa and a stunning view – a perfect spot to relax with a book or a glass of wine. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This place has a special charm, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and outstanding hospitality.

The host Tony is very professional and extremely friendly. Environment (garden, kitchen, rooms) very clean and very well maintained. Many pibs and restaurants close (10 min by car).     Outstanding location overlooking the Lake. So beautiful and peaceful, a really tranquil place. Laura and Ronnie met us when we arrived, carried in our luggage and were so helpful. The Mews is spotlessly clean and is just a wonderful place to stay. Laura and Ronnie left us a welcome pack of bread, eggs and milk as the kitchen is really well equipped. There is a log fire for those colder evenings and a gorgeous covered outdoor seating area. It is absolute bliss and Laura and Ronnie could not have been better hosts. They are exceptional.
