Very nice, clean B&B right next to the bridge. Great large room, aktuelle BNB I Head on the Trip that didn’t half rather crammed Room. And there was even breakfast in the fridge for self service though announced as room only. Where have you ever seen something like that?

Belford house is a beautifully maintained old building, situated in the heart of Haltwhistle. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. We liked the extra attention to detail, such as large fluffy towels, milk and water in the fridge, 2 pillows on each bed and a good selection of tea and coffee. These things make a guest feel very welcome. Self check in and out was very easy. Lots of places to eat nearby.

    We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated this being cooked to order, rather than the usual self service buffet. We also enjoyed the roast dinner; it was a Sunday night. A peaceful location and a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms would have been a little small for a longer stay but fine for a night or two. Clean and comfortable.

    The staff were welcoming. A little disappointed with accommodation and had to leave the pub in order to access accommodation.. Bed was small and the bathroom was cold even though there was a towel rail. The restaurant was extremely expensive food wise. Pie, chips and peas £14.99 and that was the cheapest on the menu. They need to revise their pub food prices as nothing fancy I'm afraid. Location was beautiful and not far from Hexham. This was more of a 3 star rating.

    A beautiful location, we found this an ideal place to stay as we walked Hadrains Wall, which was about 40 mins away by car. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was superb, and the room was comfortable.
