We had the best time! Kefalonia is such a beautiful island and we strongly recommend to stay in Argostoli Essence Suites while enjoying its beauty. Perfect location enables you to enjoy city centre in the evenings and explore georgeous beaches during the day (for that purpose we suggest to rent a car). The accommodation itself is very lovely, I appreciated details like Marvis toothpaste and Molton Brown showergel :) we were charmed by the hospitality of the place - generous and delicious breakfast, welcome snack and free minibar! Last but not least, Dimitris at the front desk is the heart of this place, incredibly helpful and full od great tips and such a nice person - thanks for making our stay so special!

We returned to Canale this year, and once again it met and exceeded our expectations. As a designer of luxury residences hotels I travel widely to experience what's out there. This is simply one of the best boutique luxury hotels in the world. A quiet unassuming elegance that is so refreshing ! It was wonderful to see hosts Spiros and Alexandra again, who are absolute assets to the Canale. There is nothing too small for them; and they go out of the way to make sure everything is perfect for you. A huge congratulations and I look forward to visiting again !

It was the coziest house we've ever stayed in. Perfect cleanliness and design. In a quiet village, with a stunning terrace and big beautiful table were we ate and played cards. The children really enjoyed the wicker swing. Bed linen of 5-star hotel quality. In the bathrooms we found shampoo and conditioner, and even cotton swabs and pads. The owner met us personally. He brought everything we needed for breakfast. There was juice, water and even ice waiting for us in the fridge, also popcorn for kids and the bottle of local wine for parents. The kitchen had all the necessary spices, a large selection of plates and kitchen utensils. The location of the house is ideal for visiting the most beautiful beaches of this coast of the island and the capital. Also we found a good taverna 10 minutes walk from the house. So this place it’s absolute love!

Absolutely amazing stay – highly recommended! This was truly the best accommodation we've ever stayed at. Every little detail was carefully thought out — the place is equipped with absolutely everything you might need. It's brand new, modern, and beautifully decorated with great attention to style. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, offering us all the information we needed about the area. We especially loved having our own private yard, which gave us peace, quiet, and a sense of privacy. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the town center, and only a 7-minute drive to the best sandy beach in the area.

The property is very clean. New furniture. Air conditioning. Perfectly comfortable and equipped. I arrived late and the owner was super nice and waited for me. There was honey offered in the room. Very tasty. In the morning the owner was super nice and took me to airport which is 5 mins away from the property. Totally recommend. Family owned.

    Everything, even more beautiful than on pictures! Hospitality of the hosts, very clean, comfortable and quiet. We felt just like home. Location is perfect, 2 mins of city center by walking, Restaurants, Promenade, Bakery, Market… This beuatiful little town is also good as a base for exploring the island. And trust me, you should do that! So much beautiful beaches and places, specific flora and fauna, breathtaking landskapes… It was an amazing vacation, all recommendations 😊

    Fantastic location on the harbour-front with a stunning sea view from the balcony. Ideally placed for exploring Argostoli. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean and a fabulous choice of breakfast. 2 night stay in the capital. Perfect.

    Loved the location right on the main road into Argostoli facing the water. As a female solo traveller, it was ideal. The restaurant downstairs is open all day and is a peaceful escape from the busier pace outside. The single room was snug but spotlessly clean and the staff, both in the hotel and restaurant area were friendly and kind.

    Spotless, super cheery little apartment, lovely location with views across the water and bridge, had coffee in the morning sunshine on the balcony, few steps down to the streets of Argostoli, I felt welcome, warm (it was only Feb) and safe... bless her she even provided and electric blanket for me...there was also central heating for the odd chilly evening.... Ideal for single or couple wanting to visit the lovely town of Argostoli.

    The apartment was spotless, modern and the hosts thought of little things to make our stay more comfortable such as pegs for the clothes line, a universal power adapter, fresh fruit and water in the fridge, and a bottle of local wine. As we like walking, the location was ideal for an evening stroll along the port to the main center for the evening, and an easy walk back.
