I loved everything about this hotel. At first sight - we just thought that everything was beautiful and clean. But then we realized that this hotel really cares about their guests and the service is really out of this world. Chris, that was in the reception majority of the time that we stayed there, always aimed for us to have the best time even though it rained while we stayed in the hotel for a majority of our visit. She and her colleagues always greeted us with smiles, giving us tips about where to go and how to get to those places. I know that it doesn’t sound like it’s anything more than ”regular” service, but when you meet people that treat you so good as they treated us in a 5-star hotel (and mind you - that doesn’t happen often since we mainly stay at 5-star hotels) then you appreciate the whole trip in a complete other way. Also, me and my boyfriend have worked within hospitality and service during the majority of our careers and we know that good service takes energy and commitment. If the manager of this hotel sees this review - please tell everybody on your team how great they are! Because we will be back in the fall again (booked another visit day 2 of our stay). And (!) not to forget to mention the spa. I got a treatment from Maria Hanaroli down at the spa and it was amazing! If you stay at the hotel make sure to get a treatment with her to make your trip even more luxurious.

Perfect location for exploring the city with lovely views across the city to the harbour. A modern hotel with aircon, which allowed the windows to be shut at night to keep out the city noise. We had a large terrace and when we returned from exploring the city we enjoyed sitting watching the world go by on the streets below with swifts swooping in the sky above. The hotel served a good breakfast buffet with a wide selection. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Everything is thought of. No lapses. Attention to detail. Amazing location. Excellent breakfast, the food overall was very good, the espresso one of the best in Chania. Fruit option for desert, for some reason, unlike many other parts of Greece, in Chania not many restaurant serve fruits, but Porto Veneziano is a nice exception. A real gem.

    Fabulous location for a late arrival as it was so close to the airport. Large room with a balcony and a very comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast and really friendly staff. We enjoyed a morning swim before breakfast, a great start to our holiday.

    The breakfast was very good. They serve local specialties and very little industrial foods. We took a taxi to get there and the journey is about 15 minutes from the Chania airport. The location is very peaceful calm and beautiful. We had a duplex room with a large terrace which was very nice with an overview of the typical Greek town.
