The apartment was beautiful, very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and kind. They even told what locations to visit and check out. We had a private balcony right at our doorstep.

The owners Nicos and Maria were extremely warm and friendly. Lovely taverna which is part of the hotel with some of the best food we had in Crete. The taverna and hotel are family run, rooms are comfortable, pool is great and all the best beaches are close by.

Amazing place. It is new and fancy with a very small private pool that we enjoyed more than expected. The host was amazing and very helpful, taking care of our wellbeing all the time. The place is perfect also if you want to go there for a creative solo retreat. Nice beaches all around.

This is one of the most marvelous places I've ever been. Such a quiet place and extremely charming. The studios are built in a way you have privacy. The room is quite big and has everything you need. The bathroom is so beautiful and has a very nice shower. They use such great elements to make the environment more authentic. I particularly liked the old painted closets and the hammocks outside which made you feel very relaxed considering the view and the concert of the crickets. The pool (with it's view on the surrounding mountains) isn't quite big, but definitely enough for cooling down. The owner is an incredible host! He spoiled us with fresh figs, grapes, pastries. Every morning there's this friendly lady coming to ask if everything is okay and if you need something. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Absolutely loved everything about it! Also, it is an excellent location to explore the west side of Crete!

Amazing, very clean and brand new apartment with everything you need. Only 3 minutes by car from the city center. Two balconies with fly screens on each door. Communication with the host was easy and reliable. We really enjoyed our stay in this brand new building and highly recommend it to travelers looking for a luxury apartment on a budget.

    I loved staying at Velanos Villas. My villa was ideally private and the entire stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The pool is clean and refreshing and provides welcome relief in the heat. Jenni is a wonderful host - helpful and friendly but not obtrusive - and it was a pleasure to meet her. Kefali is a lovely village with good walks Just be aware that you will need your own transport if you want to do more than relax and potter in the local area

    Peaceful mountain location with superb lush views from the balcony and roof terrace. A tranquil place to wind down. The host (Irene) gave us some excellent recommendations for beaches and walks, all within a short drive away. There was real Greek hospitality in the family restaurant. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again.

    We very much liked the location in the hills away from the tourist hordes; the views; the comfort and coziness of the house including the great fireplace with plenty of timber provided. A great base to explore the west coast of Crete and its beautiful beaches; and then return to the peace and quiet of a hill country village. The house was spotlessly clean and a very nice welcome from Jenny including flowers and a delicious apple cake.
