1. Location is perfect if you travel with kids. Just 20 minutes from the airport. 2. Food is perfect, lot of choices, vary tasty. 3. Staff is very helpful, friendly. 4. Beach is near, good for the kids to play around. 5. There is also a playground for the kids. And a lot of other things for the kids: movies, shows, dances, kids room and slides with pools. 6. As for adults: one small pool. It can get crowded as it the only one with deep water, kids also like to jump there. 7. The view that you will get while eating is really beautiful. You will not see it on the pictures here but believe me, its quite amazing. I was surprised.

It took me a week to write this review just because I didn't know how to write one that would do our vacation justice. Antonis was the kindest host; he welcomed us from the moment we arrived, assisted us with everything we needed throughout the vacation (there was a small ant infestation that he got rid of within hours) and even advised us on what to visit, going as far as to call acquaintances to give us some boat tour options. 😊 The room was nothing short of dreamy, more spatious than the photos give it justice, with every facility you might need (fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hairdryer, iron & table for ironing, makeup table) and a breathtaking view of the coast at any time of the day. There's an AC in both of the rooms, and the walls are perfectly designed for temperature isolation so that not much of the heat gets inside if you keep the doors closed. Clean, tidy, and intimate, with an exit to the balcony from both the bedroom and the living room, sunbeds, and a hot tub with lights, music and bubble jets that exceeded expectations— especially in the evening, when the breeze made bathing even better. The surroundings are characteristic to a more picturesque Crete, being a bit further away from the crowds and buildings, which sets an incredibly peaceful ambience, with fireflies and sheep noise in the distance. (I loved the sheep bleating.) There aren't really insects otherwise! Everything was mosquito free. The location also welcomes you with a lovely parrot named Riko, who may seem shy at first but has an amazingly charming and sociable personality, if you're patient enough to give him attention everytime you pass by. We promised Antonis we'll come back again, and we will; it's a shame to only stay at this hotel once.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. Maria and the team looked after us throughout the stay and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was generous and delicious every day. The hotel and rooms were immaculate and the pool area and bar were quiet and very relaxing serving delicious food and very good cocktails.

We had to find a quick solution due to cancelled flight at short notice-close to the airport. This apartment was 15mins journey and we found a spotlessly clean modern room waiting for us within the hour. The owner arrived to ensure everything was in order and explained how the air con, entry system and tv worked etc. He was so helpful and welcoming . it was very well equipped with coffee machine and fridge where water and soft drinks were proved. The linens and towels were great quality and the beds comfy and large. It was located on the coast road with the sea metres from the door and a Sandy beach a 5 min walk away. The area was fairly low key but several tavernas and cafe bars were nearby as well as a convenience groceries store. It was a bonus to find this great place after a disappointing airline experience

    Very lovely apartment, good kitchen and living room. Air conditioner worked, location good. Owner was a lovely person who even made the present for us on our last day. And they let us to stay in the apartment even after normal check-out time -which was really appreciated by my mother (it was too hot outside for her).

    The property was amazing! Exactly as the photos have been presented. It was well designed, thought out and really felt like a home. It was also very clean! The location was amazing, you’re literally right on the beach and close to beach clubs such as palm beach and Malibu. It was also close to your basic shops, groceries and pharmacy. The most beautiful part was being greeted by our host with open arms and running us through the amenities. She also gave us fruit and water!

    The villa is absolutely fantastic. Amazing views, great location, amazing pool, out door kitchen and areas to relax. Inside is beautifully presented., lovely bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need and the owners Tim and Mathea are the perfect hosts, and have thought of everything for a perfect stay. We had a wonderful 12 night holiday and would highly recommend and cannot wait to return to Crete and definitely return to the beautiful Kali Thea villas.

    Brand new furniture.Very clean and spacious. The private parking was very helpful for us. A few minutes from Town yet so far from noise and traffic. The jacuzzi was absolutely amazing. Definitely will visit again. Highly appreciated.

    Very clean and beautiful interior. The beach is easily reached on foot and the view is just as amazing as in the pictures. Cutlery, towels, hair dryers and any other gadgets one could think of were available. This came in very handy when using the barbecue outside, which made for a gorgeous dinner setting.
