what is there not to like!? the whole exprrience of samothraki is absolutly something to get to feel no matter the season i am positive. "the cottage" is a funky name for a full functional space with everything you need. whenever we called for anything they responded on the spot and offered their help in any matter even at late hours well beyond common sence. the PLACE is perfect for a family of four, or two couples and i am prety sure that if you talk to Kiki (our so kind host) she will be more than happy to acomodate few others in the olive garden and let them put up a tentbor two. there is so much space with plenty of flowers for a nice view in the morning and plenty of shade for relaxation and reading time in a hammok. 3 minute walk to the beach. 25 min walk to the nearest taverna ARGO (ΑΡΓΟ) (very lovely family). 15 min by car to SubSaos diivng center. the olive tree garden, the pale white and deep pink leanders, the quite night, the people, the island itself, the spectacular view of mount Saos who takes up his green and rocky slopes right from the cottage back yard... we were'nt even bothered by the constant cricketing "music" of the cicadas.

First of all, the house is much cooler in reality than in the pictures. It has a bedroom and two sofas for one person. However, there were 6 of us (we took an inflatable mattress with us) and we still had enough space. Everything is modern and in harmony with nature. The courtyard is wonderful and very large (2 terraces) and has a superb view of the mountain. We will definitely come back next year!

Everything was perfect. The apartment was very well situated in Chora and it had everything you needed. Christine and Barbara are very nice hosts. Communication with them was really easy and pleasant and Christine was even waiting for us at the ferry just to make our way to the apartment easier. The apartment has a little balcony/terrace which is perfect for relaxing after a full day of visiting the island, or for taking breakfast in the morning.

Great location, in a quite area. Very clean, very well managed. Walking distance to the archeological site and to a pebble beach just across the road. A neighbooring taverna proved practical for meals. An iron was provided asa I required it.

briefly wonderful stay. rooms are very clean balcony with seaview is great. Morning coffe and cake from Kalliopi if wonderful. Facility is a piece of heaven on earth. w/i 1 km walking distance you may find everthing including a beach... strongly recommend this facility and sure we will come again.

Very clean, stylish and recently renovated studios. The owner was very kind and professional and was happy to let us stay along with our dogs. The neighbourhood is very nice with some nice restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    The place is with perfect location – next to the sea and with beautiful garden. Jorgus and his family were very kind, helpful and friendly. The room is very clean, cosy and comfortable, equipped with everything you need. Wifi is excellent. Great place to relax and enjoy your vacation.

    It was quite low budget and for that price I got a very very clean room and bathroom. The bedroom was in nice colours, I had a fridge in my room, a balcony, a view over greenery and I could even see a bit of the ocean :-) There was an outdoors communal kitchen which also was very very clean and came in handy for making coffee in the morning or cooking simple meals. Wi-fi was great. The host, Thannasis Stergiou was the kindest and most helpful man I could have imagined. I fully recommend Stergiou Rooms.
