I loved my holiday in Sofia Kalives! ❤️ I was travelling alone. They made me feel at home and safe all the time! All my questions were answered very friendly. Room service is great, they clean rooms every day. Even my dishes! My room stayed cool, altho I didn't have air conditioner on! View is beautiful! Sea on the other side and mountains the other. It is nice to sit at the terrace and enjoy the view and the local delicacies. Thank You Sofia for giving me the rest that I needed! Hope to come back soon! ❤️

We stayed for 8 nights and this property was ideal. Fantastic location. Kitchen had everything and more than needed, even had coffee machine and toastie maker. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Liza’s Place is located 30 minutes drive outside of Chania city center, surrounded by beautiful Cretan landscape with views of the famous White Mountains. There is also a path that leads to the mountains as well as the European hiking trail E4. For anyone interested in hiking activities on the island, it is the ideal place. The house is spacious, lovingly furnished and very clean. Everything is well maintained. There is also a backyard with furniture and lemon/orange trees, which we were allowed to try out. The perfect nature experience! The owners are welcoming and very helpful. We will definitely come back!

The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate throughout. It is full of traditional style and very tastefully furnished. There is much evidence of the generations of family woodworking skills. Cretan hospitality welcomes you. All the rooms are comfortable, spacious, light and airy. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to sit at any time of day or night with superb views of the surrounding mountains. It is just a short 2 minute walk to the central square with tavernas offering excellent food. The host, Andreas, is very friendly and helpful, speaks English and has a wealth of knowledge about the village and Cretan life.

The villa is much larger than the pictures make out, it’s very peaceful, it was clean and has been well maintained. Anna’s communication was great from start to finish. A week wasn’t enough I wish we could have stayed longer. We found so many amazing beaches just 15 mins drive with lots of tavernas with great food, I loved this villa so much it was perfect for myself my partner and my two kids. We would definitely recommend to book this villa.

    Fantastic private outdoor area where we spent most of our time and could always find some shade. Lovely rustic, well equipped and clean house in a quiet location. Nice pool (roughly 3x6 meters). Yannis, the host, was very helpful and friendly and speaks english very well! Great experience eating in the village taverna that is a short walk from the house.

    We liked everything, especially the pool area and terraces. The villa itself is spacious and very clean. The nature and small village atmosphere are amazing. Perfect choice if you are into easy-going life and total relaxation. The host was so friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool. The view over the valley and to the mountain above were unforgettable.

    My friends & I had an amazing time at the villa. We loved the secluded location, away from the noise. The views were amazing, pool very refreshing and outside kitchen perfect for a big group. Many thanks to Zoi & Katarina for their hospitality!
