Really lovely accommodations with beautiful surroundings, which include the golf course, Killeen Castle, ruins of a church, and gardens. The accommodations are in the lodges with four bedrooms in each section with lounge/kitchenette area for use by all guests in the section. Very quiet. Enjoyable walk through the gardens to the clubhouse for meals, which were great. Or you can drive to the parking lot, if you prefer. Everything appears new. Would definitely stay again if we’re ever in Ireland again. We’re not golfers, but if you were, you’d be in seventh heaven. Enjoyable for non-golfers too.

I had a lovely staff at Butterhouse. What a location - from my room there was a beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise over the frosty fields. The bedroom itself was warm and cosy, the bed had a great big mattress and a warm and soft duvet and pillows - I slept like a baby :) The hosts, Pam & Maurice, were exceptional. They picked me and dropped me off from the nearby town of Trim, and even gave me a lift and back to my appointment. They were welcoming, friendly and great to talk to. Also, the continental breakfast the next morning was delicious and abundant. I highly recommend Butterhouse!

I stayed in the dog friendly converted stables, it’s was lovely and very well done, large comfy double bed and a single bed, proper coffee machine with everything you need. It was lovely sitting in the gardens with my (large breed )dog. Beautiful property

    The location was super for work in Navan- it was an unexpected surprise when we arrived to the beautifully scenic location. We enjoyed the space in the rooms, the lounge area and the lovely walks.

    The views and location it was very peaceful. My room was exceptional and very clean to a high standard. Views and location were stunning here. The staff in particular go above and beyond what is expected. They really put you first which is refreshing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you Phillip for such a wonderful stay and for getting me to the wedding just in the nik of time!!
