The best hostel in Bodhgaya, if not in India. The location is in a quiet, safe and peaceful area where you only hear birds from a distance. The hostel is well cleaned with lovely garden areas and communal space. It’s very rare to have such a spacial hostel not just in Bodhgaya but in rest of India. Wifi is well connected, I watched multiple Netflix episodes without ever lagging. The only problem is it’s difficulty in access due to its distance from central area of Bodhgaya but the hostel knows reliable Tuk-tuks that offers secure transport with the right rate. Biggest plus is definitely the manager; Extremely hospitable and willing to help with many needs of the guests including area guides, foods and general help you will naturally have especially you are visiting India. Not to mention his cookery is amazing, has a vast range of conversations in English but also respects your privacy and solitude whenever you are in need. I came to Bodhgaya quite sick and tired, as a result having to stay in the hostel for nearly a week, within that week I was able to fully nourish myself, get a proper rest, engaged in a various conversation with the manager and other guests, even learnt how to make chai:) all due to the positive aspect the hostel bring. I will definitely stay in this hostel whenever I visit Bodhgaya again and I hope this review attracts many more travelers there as well! The photo was taken close to the hostel. It is surrounded by such a peaceful beautiful landscape of rural Bihar.

Newly opened hotel best part it's cleanness and hygiene. Staff was very cooperative specially the management they are very professional. Rooms are big in size and provide all the good quality amenities. We are overwhelmed with the welcoming process. Location very calm and pleasant. All the temple and Monestry very near to that place . In a city where very little is transparent when it comes to the tourism industry , this was an extremely welcome change, and I am so happy I stayed here. Perhaps for the first time in the country I had a spotless toilet that really was easy to keep clean and dry. The balcony gave the room a very spacious feel and the room in itself was very large without any clutter. Everything had a feel of being new and painted - perhaps it was all new. Extremely good stay. Also its a walkable distance away from the temples and monasteries, but just far removed enough to avoid the noise and cacophony of Bodh Gaya. There is a bit of greenery and open fields around that does help.

Dharmik guest house is driven by a very friendly and welcoming family and on the top of that, the rooms are newly made, clean, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The guest house is at walking distance to Bodhi Tree, also accessible by the road close by. The house is located in a quiet area and the neighbourhood is kind and friendly. My stay at Marina Homestay was one of my highlights of my India trip and I can highly recommend this stay to any foreigner looking for a clean and budget friendly stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. The best part was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They helped me organise a complicated transportation to another city, took me to the city of Bodh Gaya with a motorbike and even invited me for breakfast and dinner. They also invited me to visit a local school which was a very cool experience.
