The property was fine, nothing extraordinary, but served its purpose. It was clean, kitchen equipped and bathroom clean and quite big. The bedroom was perfect, the bed was big and the matress very comfy. There were no problems, I read some of the bad reviews, but we had quite a good stay. There was enough toilet paper.

We enjoyed the place very much. We arrived late but the host welcomed us with a smile! The place was just like the pictures, everything was clean and easy to use. I would say that the real heart of the place is the garden, the location and the owners. They pampered us, always asking how we felt, treating us to snacks, etc. But it wasn't intrusive, rather it made you feel welcome. I am sure we will return to Sicily and if to Sirucas' direction then we would love to stay there again! By the way very close around a 15-20min drive you can also reach a great nature reserve with trails. And beautiful beaches are like 10min drive from the villa. It's just a great location from which everything is reachable very quickly!

We loved everything about this accommodation. We’ve been to Italy many times and travelled across Sicily too and this is one of the best places we’ve ever had. The property is new and the owners put a lot of work in to keeping the standards high. Sebastiano is out cleaning the beautiful pool area every morning while you enjoy fresh locally sourced food for breakfast. The team of polite and friendly ladies make sure breakfast is how you like it and then begin cleaning the rooms afterwards, they do a great job. Sebastiano gave me his phone number and told me to contact him any time for help, when I asked him for a corkscrew he was there in minutes! I never leave reviews but felt that Villa Carmiano deserves it, we had a fantastic week.

Alessandra, creator of Sikelia Suites, is a very warm person and a caring host. During our stay she was very responsive, provided a lot of helpful recommendations and made sure our needs are met. Interior design is simple, elegant, well-thought-through with attention to detail. Especially when visiting the breakfast space you can notice the respect towards old walls and how choosing minimalist contemporary furniture really lets them speak. Breakfasts, what can I say, I really miss them! Alessandra made sure we could taste Sicily! She selected local, good quality products, some even homemade, always described them and made sure some parts of the menu change daily and are to our liking. Bed was comfortable with three pillows per person, each in different size and softness. After coming back home I immediately went to the household goods store and bought myself a new fluffy pillow, trying to recreate the Sikelia sleeping experience haha Heating was available and came in handy, because during our stay in the first days of April it wasn't that warm outside. In Sikelia Suites quality comes before quantity, everything has a personal touch and represents Alessandra's cohesive vision of this place.
