thank you for this wonderful accommodation in the city center of Varese. I really felt like home here. The apartment is perfectly cleaned. We received a lot of wonderful snacks from the owner. The owner is a very helpful and pleasant person, he is always available on his mobile and is also a big dog lover.

Our time at RIAREL was great - the room with bathroom was spacious, new and exceptionally clean, as well as the common areas; we had no issues whatsoever. The place is tucked away from traffic in the small village of Rodero, a good location to visit Como and the surrounding areas within a short drive. Don't worry about the 'self-serve' breakfast: it's generous, with plenty of choice and of good quality; the kitchen is well kept and you have everything you need to cook meals for yourself. Carlo is an exceptional host, friendly and kind, and provided some good tips for restaurants and things to do during our short stay.

It was an unbelievable stay. The castle is on the top of a hill, surrounded by nature. Rooms are immaculate, spa very well organised with a lot of saunas. The restaurant… exquisite food, I had the best lamb ever . Breakfast is above the expectations of a top Italian breakfast and … believe me .. I am Italian very picky on food. The bombolone and the caprese cake were unforgettable. Last but not least : location is few minutes from the CH boarder and you can bypass Choassi which is normally very busy , so it is a perfect base to visit the Como Lake and to return to North Europe .

It might have been the best place I've ever stayed at :) Location is ideal (you're just in the middle of the beautiful Old Town), the owner is very nice, helpful, communicative and with good English, the place was so clean that I felt that I could eat from the floor. The process of picking up / leaving the keys was extremely easy. In the house, there was everything I needed to feel comfortable. There's quite a lot of stairs which could be a problem for somebody else, but - as I have a desk job - I was happy that I had opportunity to walk up and down a bit :) I highly recommend.

    Nice location with a great view. The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff was very polite. The restaurant served delicious food. The general interior of the hotel was okay. However, it was disappointing to find out upon arrival that kids are not allowed in the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it was out oversight.

    The room was spacious and clean and facing the garden so it was quiet too. The location was convenient as I needed to go to Switzerland frequently. The restaurant was also good and there was enough parking space too.

    Very nice hotel, nice room with terrace and Hängematte outside, giant bathroom, very clean, very cosy and comfortable bed, nice landscape, close to Varese and Como, ideal for crossing the border to Switzerland, nice shopping places and restaurants and bars nearby.
