Pennapiedimonte is the most beautiful village/place we have visited in our six week trip through Italy. The natural, historical and archaeological beauty goes beyond written or spoken words. Casa Avella is a property which reflects the beauty of the area. Very tasteful design, modern yet respectful of the historical town and environment, comfortable beds air conditioning, plenty of room, great water pressure, good wifi, quiet, premium quality toiletries. The local people are astonishingly welcoming and the management of Casa Avella go beyond what anyone would believe possible to make your stay wonderfully perfect. Visit this area and this property before the rest of the world finds out! Simply outstanding. We feel blessed and privileged to have stayed at this property and so will you. The main attraction for us upon booking was the swimming pool and we weren't disappointed. We had the whole pool to ourselves and the owner kindly let us borrow a couple of towels as we were travelling light and had left ours at home. The beds and bathroom were clean while the kitchen area was basic and functional. The bedroom opened out onto a balcony where we could sit and eat breakfast with a view over the mountains.

This cosy house is in the historic and beautiful old town. However on the inside it has been tastefully renovated and to a high standard of decoration. There was plenty of space for a couple and we loved coming back to it at the end of a busy day exploring. It is handily placed for ships, bars and restaurants, although you may have to park your car about 5 min walk away due to the nature of the pedestrianised streets in the old town.

    This was a beautiful B&B with so many special little touches that really made it stand out. The old world charm of the rooms was quite unique and you immediately felt at home. The common area was just as pretty as the bedrooms. All beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very highly finished. The entire property was spotlessly clean throughout. A beautiful home in a stunning little mountain top village!
