We were so warmly welcomed by the owners in their beautiful casa, which is a former convent. The church next to it is still in use. They recommended some very nice restaurants in the neighborhood and also a piano concert in the church next which we attented, it was beautiful! The rooms are very clean and spacious. They left us soap, toothbrushes, etc in the (very clean) bathroom. Hot water at any time and the breakfast was also very nice. The town is just a 15min drive away and there are plenty of facilities like stores and restaurants nearby, still you wake up with a beautiful view and I think this is a great place for hiking. If we ever come by this region again we will be sure to book a room with you again! Thank you 🌈

This studio is located on a quiet street in the village of Scoppito, not far from L'Aquila. We arrived late due to a flight delay, but Alessandro gave us a warm welcome and even provided fresh water and some snacks! Casa Menestra is very well furnished, clean and has its own garden. Nice bed and a well-equipped bathroom. Although the house is further away (in time) from L'Aquila than we thought, we found it to be a good base for exploring Abruzzo: L'Aquila, Teramo and Atri, Gran Sasso and Campo Imperatore etc.

Large and spacious , clean and well appointed. Central location and great value. The hosts were amazing and unbelievably helpful … places to see .. where to eat. They even went to the effort of organising a private transfer for us when our train was cancelled at the last minute. I can’t praise them highly enough.
