I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was large and spacious. Wonderful apartment with all necessary things, right in the center of the medieval city, very quiet and cozy. Brand new and stylish decorations. You can see the garden of the villa d este right by the door. Well equipped, milk, cookies, coffee, lemons etc very nice welcoming touch. As it is a zone with a limited traffic we recommend to unload first luggage and then park 600 meters from the apartment, parking piazza massimo. Highly recommend for staying there!

The hosts Mariano and Dora couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, and we were made to feel very welcome. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped and decorated, a home from home and spotlessly clean. The homemade cake and pastries for breakfast were delicious and there was plentiful juice, milk and choice of teas and coffee. The owners are attentive but discreet; we felt they were there for anything we needed but we had total privacy. Other reviews mention that it’s below the owners’ villa and dark, but the windows are huge and let in a good amount of light. The photos are accurate and overall it’s a fabulous place to stay.

We are very happy to spend two good days here. The owner Filippo takes us to different cafes for breakfast every morning and takes us to buy tickets for scenic spots. Because we don’t want to drive, he also takes us to the bus. He didn‘t leave until the bus arrived and introduced us to delicious restaurants... Too much warmth Taking care of it is like meeting an old friend in a strange city. Highly recommended to everyone!
