Unbelievable setting in the mountains, overseeing the valley and the sea. If you get up early enough, you can enjoy a spectacular sunrise. Balcony is in the shade most of the day, the apartment is fitted with most modern day appliances with a few things missing that will be provided for free upon request (bottle opener for example). The host is extremely friendly and discreet, even bringing me fresh fruit from the garden. Depending on what you are looking for, this might be ideal. Away from all the hassle, quiet, laid back and relaxing, but at least 25 minutes away from the nearby best beaches.

The hosts were fantastic, so helpful, even with a very late arrival at 1.00am. They even helped us with some food as shops were closed when our flight arrived in. The place was very clean well laid out, rooms were nice and cool, water was piping hot. Location, central to both mountains and the beach - and ideal for spot for walking / hiking and some beach time. Its high up, about 1.2 km, so great views. Overall we were very happy with the hosts and the place, a good choice and good value.

Lanusei was great! Ilena, the hostess was very helpful! My room was an attic with a fantastic terrace overlooking the village and the plain as far as the sea.

Our host Valentina was exceptional. Her communication was great through WhatsApp and her English was very good as well. Bonus for us. The apartment was small but beautiful. The garden was very nice and the breakfast was amazing. Valentina served us herself and even cooked scrambled eggs and bacon. There was a coffee pod machine and pods and tea available.

We were amazed from the moment we stepped in and how warm we were welcomed by the host. He offered us something to drink and recommended many places to see and activities in the area. He answered any questions we had and recommended a great restaurant close to the place where you can eat traditional Sardinian food. It was very tasty! We were also offered breakfast for €6 each and it was sooo worth it! Everything was home made, grown by the host and his family, and there was even a cake baked by his wife. Everything was just delicious. Room was very clean and cozy, with a great view over the town and mountains. We loved how the host makes everything as sustainable as it is possible. We highly recommend this place!
