Utmost welcoming hosts. It felt more like a homestay that a hostel. Also in terms of cleanliness it was exceptional. I have been to many different types of accommodation during the past two years in Japan where the standard of cleanliness is already very high but this place can keep it up with any five star hotel! The communication with the staff was great. And she was there when we got there for us. It's a Japanese traditional house, so it may not be all singing and dancing, but it was comfortable, all the facility we wanted was there including parking, and it was very safe area.

The owners were very kind and generous! We stayed during the heavy rain and floods, so the owners drove us to the convenience store to buy food. The house is very cosy and comfortable!

Amazing host! Very kind and responsive. We accidentally left our earbuds in the house and they sent them to us immediately without charge. The location is great, right inside the cultural heritage village. You can see the sea from the first floor too. Would recommend anyone who is visiting Amakusa!
