The onsen is really good. The views are nice from the room, and they gave us a 2000 yens voucher (we didn't have breakfast included) which we used for the shop. When they came to install the futons, it wasn't the right time for us, so I asked them to not do it now. When it was the right time, I went to reception to ask for it, I think the women who normally do it had finished their shift but two men from the reception came to the room and installed the 4 futons (you had to add the sheets.on the pillows and the blankets too). I didn't realise this wasn't their job until it was too late but I was very thankful they did it especially as the room was small for 4 futons and the tables and it required some tetris skills.

12/10 absolutely incredible stay!! Very VERY kind and helpful hosts that offered me pickup/dropoff rides, a ride to the supermarket, and even a goodie bag on my way out. This made for the perfect penultimate day to my MCT thru-hike, could not have wished for anything better. Fully equipped kitchen, nice shower, bathtub, common room with TV and netflix, sheesh. Thank you!!!!

Had an absolute excellent stay at Ryokan Takimuraya. The elderly couple managing it were kind, attentive and hospitable. The room was big, clean and spacious, and the breakfast and dinner options were delicious! It is in a good location for travellers visting Karumai for the Haikyuu pilgrimage. Highly recommended and I would love to stay here again! : )
