It’s a great place to stay if you want a cheap place. Stay in a traditional Japanese house with good facilities. What makes it great is the lady who runs its. She is a really lovely woman who made me feel comfy able and welcome. Talking to her about her interesting life and stories was great

Everything! Charming staff. Beautiful room and gardens. Lovely onsen bath. Exceptional food. Restaurant staff fantastic with helpful English hand drawn menus. Clean, bright and well maintained.

The house was extremely welcoming, spacious and had great character. We were a group of 4 and had a great time finding all the interesting things hidden around the house - make sure to lie down on the long couch and look up ;). We especially loved the little study, armchairs, and the courtyard that we opened up to watch the rain. The host (Maiko) was also very welcoming, as well as responsive and helpful with her communication. Good shower, too.
