We loved this hotel. It’s located at one of the smallest lakes and very remote to the main lake area but that’s what we wanted.. barely anyone around it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Staff were excellent and so helpful and the buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic (basically all you can eat) so awesome value for money. And they picked us up and dropped us for free at train station which is a 30-40min drive away!

We only stayed one night, we would have loved to stay longer. The room was beautiful, bright, with a view of Mount Fuji. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the location was excellent, just 2 or 3 blocks from the station. Thank you as well for the keychain you gave us, such a lovely souvenir.

We just loved the Villa we stayed in. They provide you with complimentary juices for kids and wine for adults. Writing reviews isn't typically my thing but I must talk about the amazing customer service we received that saved us 44k yen. I'm not usually a travel planner, so not renting a car for this trip was definitely my mistake. However, the staff member (whose name I regret not asking) was very helpful. He assisted with taxi bookings and recommended places that met our needs. To illustrate, I must mention that I had tickets for a 10:20 a.m. express shuttle from Kawaguchiko Station on my way out, so timely arrival was crucial. Usually, the taxis would arrive within 30 minutes of the call. So naturally, I expected things would go smoothly that morning. But after struggling to find a taxi for a while, the staff spontaneously drove home and returned with probably his own pick-up truck to transport our family of four, along with our five suitcases, and drove us 25 minutes to the station. If it weren't for him, we would have spent a lot to rebook Shinkansen that afternoon.
