Amazing location. Clean and cozy room with a view of the red mountains. Delicious home-cooked food. Sociable hosts with excellent knowledge of English and Russian. Simply stunning nature. Be sure to walk through the valleys, climb the mountains, do not be lazy to walk and there will be no limit to delight! Next to the guest house on a hill there is a family restaurant "Terrace" with a stunning view of the mountains and the sunset. Be sure to have dinner in the evening, you will be amazed by the views and the quality of the food.

We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. This is the best place to stay in Karakol. The family is so helpful und welcoming and made us really feel like we‘re part of the family. Everything is perfectly clean. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Perfect breakfast. 100% recommend to stay there.

The host family were so kind and helpful. The food they made us was delicious. It is very remote but we never wanted for anything. The valley itself is absolutely gorgeous. You can hike or horse treck from the camp and it was honestly some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. The Yurts are lovely and comfortable. We are a group of three friends and had more than enough space and slept so well. If you get the chance I would throughly recommend the Karakol Yurt Camp.

My favourite stay in Kirgistan. The owner lady was so kind and helpful, she knows an answer for every issue and problem, with a smile. It is a Guesthouse but feels like homestay. You can also meet other travelers. Very good location, to start exploring the city and mountains. It was great thank you

The place is very clean, has enough parking and the facilities are in a very good condition. The rooms are of a good size, both for couples and family members / friends. The owners are kind, attentive and very helpful - thanks to them we were able to navigate Karakol and also follow good recommendations on skiing, food, ski rentals and other activities. We also liked the breakfast, as well as unlimited tea/coffee supply. Location is rather central, most restaurants are within a walking distance. Recommend this place to everyone! The hotel is also eco-friendly.
